In this complimentary webinar, Grails team member, Ryan Vanderwerf, demonstrates how to use Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to build and deploy Grails applications.

Through explanations and real-life examples, Ryan introduces the basic features of Google Cloud and explains how to deploy Grails to Google AppEngine Flexible Environment and set up MySQL on Google Cloud SQL. He then covers the use of Google Cloud Storage with Grails and demonstrates how to use several popular services, including Pub/Sub, BigTable, and Compute, with Grails on Google Cloud.

Intended Audience

This webinar is recommended for developers interested in learning to deploy their Grails applications to GCP.

Prerequisites

Although everyone is welcome, we recommend attendees have at least intermediate proficiency programming with Java and/or Groovy. Experience with Grails is helpful, but not required.
