On Wednesday, March 30th, close to 50 local blockchain users and enthusiasts gathered at our headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, for a live event sponsored by TechSTL.
The two-hour event, which was free and open to the public, featured refreshments, networking opportunities, and a talk on blockchain technology and NFTs presented by Object Computing CEO, Bob Elfanbaum. In addition to expanding their understanding of this powerful business technology, five participants received complimentary NFTs as part of a giveaway sponsored by Doodle Labs.
“We were excited to share the innovation and excitement around NFTs, both for fun and business-relevant use cases, and that this innovation is being driven by the St. Louis Tech Community,” said Bob.
Object Computing team members have worked with blockchain technology since its inception and have a vast portfolio of work on related projects, including Emanate, AirTM, and StrongBlock. Recently, we entered into a strategic partnership with EOS Network Foundation to enhance the EOS smart contract development platform, which our engineers have been contributing to since 2017.
TechSTL is a local organization that "bolsters the technology ecosystem of the bi-state St Louis Region by supporting ... members through data leadership, talent retention and attraction, business development, and government relations." The organization's monthly EMERGE events showcase leaders in St. Louis' technology sectors.
