Programming in Java 8 Training Course Coming in February

Dr. Venkat Subramaniam to Teach Java 8 Course at OCI

We are excited to offer software and web developers in the Midwest an opportunity to boost their Java programming skills in Programming in Java 8, a three-day, hands-on course taught by the legendary Dr. Venkat Subramaniam.

Java 8 Training

With its eighth iteration, Java has received a major makeover, which has significantly impacted the way programmers build applications.

The introduction of lambda expressions, method references, and the Streams API in Java 8 allows developers to make use of the functional style of programming with greater emphasis on immutability and state transformation, resulting in fewer errors and more expressive and concise code that's easier to parallelize.

This course is designed to prepare Java users to make a quick and effective transition to Java 8.

Through interactive lectures and hands-on exercises, you will gain an in-depth understanding of Java 8 concepts, so you can put your new skills to immediate use on real-world projects.
