Look Under the Hood of a Self-Driving Car at OSCON
OSCON attendees will have an opportunity to see first-hand how machine learning can be used to operate an autonomous vehicle.
OCI Software Engineer, Ryan Vanderwerf, and Infor Software Developer, Lee Fox, will demonstrate the code behind their 1/16-scale self-driving car, built using Groovy and Java, machine learning, Particle, and a Raspberry Pi 3.
In addition to sharing the JVM microservice framework, hardware specs, and machine learning details they used to build and operate the vehicle, Vanderwerf and Fox will provide an opportunity to see the car in action.
This presentation will also showcase Micronaut™, the Grails team's new microservice framework based on Java and running on the Pi.
